About Rus. . . .

Rus VanWestervelt believes in living fully. His writing, teachings, photography, and seminars have inspired thousands to recognize the beauty in living in the present and embracing individuality.

Rus’ latest book, a work of fiction titled Cold Rock, was published in December 2011 and is quickly becoming an inspired reading being shared across the country. After a horrific accident, two close friends are given a final chance to believe in themselves and in love. Rus published Cold Rock through his Independent press, Ravenwater.

Rus also runs a nonprofit organization called Lines of Love, which is an outreach program for teens and young adults struggling with anxiety and depression.

Cool Blue Souls, Rus’ latest project, is a culmination of decades of research and writing in spirituality and living life fully. He and his creative partner, Cara Moulds, provide individuals the chance to experience their journey through life with passion and happiness.

Rus, who received his MFA in Creative Nonfiction from Goucher College, is available for speaking engagements and workshops in writing, photography, publishing, and inspired living. Contact him directly at rusvw13@gmail.com or at 443-834-9489.

  2. Hi Rus,
Sent you an email blast from the Jan-Ai Sch. Fd. on JennSee b’day (day after) but it got bounced.

Just wanted you to know that we do give out scholarships all across the country and your students seem to fit what we are trying to do. Stay in touch.
